My poem “The Light Precipitate of Ashes” just published in the new issue of American Literary Review. It takes its title from a line in “Inscription for a Gravestone,” my favorite poem by Robinson Jeffers.
Though I didn’t make the final cut, I’m honored to be named a finalist for the 2014 Best of the Net Anthology for my poem “The 1909 Maryland Field Phantoms of Lewis Wickes Hine, National Child Labor Committee Photographer,” which appeared last year at Passages North. Congratulations to the many fine poets who were chosen.
An essay I wrote about book reviewing published today at CutBank.
